opr brings together a team of highly experienced healthcare PR professionals working across media, stakeholder engagement, advocacy, consumer and medical healthcare campaigns under three brands – LIFE Agency, opr Health and Parker & Partners. As we enter our next phase of growth, we are looking for an experienced, full-time Account Manager / Senior Account Manager to join our dynamic team.

From facilitating or improving access, influencing policy and ensuring delivery of best practice care, to behaviour change in communities and among advocates, we partner with those determined to improve the lives of Australians. Campaigns that put an issue on the agenda are one thing; those that engage stakeholders, table policy solutions and deliver results are what we are about. Similarly, raising awareness and increasing understanding are necessary, but changing behaviour to improve self-care and empower patient champions is vital.

Our new team member will be working with a team who are focused on staying ahead of trends in the healthcare sector, both domestically and overseas, and who have a deep understanding of the Australian healthcare landscape, the key stakeholders as well as the medical and consumer media. You’ll be experienced in stakeholder, government and media engagement, to developing communications, media, issues and crisis management strategies and materials.
The successful candidate will have qualifications and experience in communications, journalism, healthcare, public affairs or public relations. You will have excellent written and verbal communications skills and demonstrate a high level of attention to detail with a focus on delivering outstanding results.
This role is Sydney based. However, if you are able to join our team in either our Melbourne or Canberra offices – due consideration will be given to the right candidate in these locations.
