Account Manager
Full-time - Melbourne

A unique agency role that sits within the client team in Melbourne, you will have the opportunity to make your mark and work with some of the top minds in the industry. 

We’re looking for an Account Manager who loves a team environment and is passionate about creative ideas and achieving results that make a difference. You’ll take responsibility for numerous projects and provide excellent client service using your industry knowledge and PR skills. 


You’ll play a strategic role managing a big client and teams, you’re a leader of the business and will play a role in making decisions affecting the business. You’ll have specialist skills that are sought by other members of your team and across opr. It is essential you have a confident, can-do attitude and bundles of initiative for this role as you will be representing the agency on a daily basis whilst sitting within the client team.

Here’s the expertise you have, that we’ll build on: 

  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to maintain a positive and calm attitude in a high-pressure environment
  • Demonstrate a high level of attention to detail, with a focus on delivering outstanding results for your client
  • Credible counsel and abbilty to problem-solve that instils client trust
  • Provide flawless execution of consumer campaigns
  • Ability to interpret briefs and apply your creativity and strategic thinking
  • Ability to provide constructive feedback and be a mentor and/or manager to junior staff
  • Ability to quickly build rapport with both clients and fellow employees
  • Lead client teams by example and walk the talk from the get-go
  • Thorough insight and management of client budgets
  • Heavy-hitting media skills and experienced understanding of consumer brand business
  • Experience with internal communications desired
